Ghosts and Goblins Moving Into Volusia Speedway Park
BARBERVILLE, FL – October 30, 2008 —
Halloween is tomorrow, but the ghosts and goblins are already moving into Volusia Speedway Park to take their places for Saturday’s Halloween Haunts. Volusia Speedway is taking on an eery feeing as the preparations for Saturday continue. With Monster Trucks, Trailer Races, a Mini-Van Demo Derby and more, fans young and old will be thrilled.
A Haunted Hay Ride will take Volusia Speedway guests to an area of the property that can be scary on a regular night. Add some Halloween characters and this Hay Ride will be sure to send chills down your spine.l
Adults and children are encouraged to come in costume. Costumes will be judged in several age groups including adults. Witches, tune up your brooms for the special witches broom races.
Plenty of action and destruction will be in store with the Monster Trucks and a special ride truck will be available, too! Rides are $8.
In case the kids do not get enough candy on Friday night, Volusia Speedway will have treats for the kids.
All the action starts at 7:00 PM on Saturday night. Gates open at 5:00 PM. Adult admission is $12. Drive-In Parking is $10. Admission for students ages 11 to 15 is $6. Kids 10 and under will be admitted free. Pit passes are $20. Trailer race participants are admitted to the pits for free.
