With the 2008 season rapidly approaching the Florida Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, D.B.A. The United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series, has already out grown its planned first year operational goals.
Expanding to tracks outside if Florida and into Georgia was a goal for the future that has became a reality before the first green flag of the season. Also in the long range goals for the series was to make it one of the TOP paying late model series in the area to put money BACK into the pockets of the people who make it all possible, the racers.
This goal has also already come to be as the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series is Excited to announce that in it's inaugural season, the points championship purse, that started out at $2500 to win for a 15 race season a few months ago, has hit an unprecedented $10,000 to win for a 15 race season.
This is just the beginning with race sponsorships adding to an already lucrative purse structure and more sponsorships being picked up every day the series is working HARD on also having the highest pay out per race.
While awaiting the opening of its first season in 2008, running the Powell Memorial at the famed Ocala Speedway in its first season retuning to dirt to a Championship purse paying $10,000 to win and a points fund that continues to grow, the first season of the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series is turning out to be something you do not want to miss!
