Ricky Moxley tops FASTRUCK 50 at Charlotte County Motorsports Park
by Jane Smith
Port Charlotte, Fl (October 18, 2008) Ricky Moxley was on a roll Saturday night at Charlotte County Motorsports Park when he set fast time for the 50 lap FASTRUCK event. With the luck of the draw, Moxley started third as Dustin Breeden set on the pole.
Moxley, driving his number 38 truck, only took ten laps before he passed Breeden and took over the lead taking the checkered over Breeden and Ross Chastain.
Moxley recently got his first win at Orlando SpeedWorld behind the wheel of the number 00 Sportsman. Owner Randy and Whitney Poole were very pleased with Moxley performance and invited him back again to try his luck. Moxley was at SpeedWorld that night for a Advance Auto Parts Pro Truck 50 where his luck was not as good as in the Sportsman.
Moxley, who stands 12th in points for the Advance Auto Parts Pro Truck Series will run a 100 lap Championship race at New Smyrna Speedway on November 8th. Be sure to keep your eye on the Number 38 and Ricky Moxley.
