| Billy Harvey Memorial Sunoco Sunbelt 125 this Saturday Night at New Smyrna Speedway | by Jane Smith Samsula, FL (April 22, 2008) The Sunoco Sunbelt Super Late Model Series rolls into New Smyrna Speedway this Saturday night for 125 laps of Super Late Model racing. A lot of the Sunbelt drivers were on hand last Saturday for the Bright House Challenge SLM 50 fine tuning their cars for this Saturday night. Tim Russell came home the winner Saturday night followed by Patrick Conrad, Justin Drawdy, Brian Finney and Kurt Jett, all Sunbelt racers. The first race was rained out at Orlando SpeedWorld but on April 4th fans got to see a great race as Tim Russell topped the field. The points for the Sunbelt Super Late Model Series are as follows: 1 36 Tim Russell 126 2 11 David Rogers 122 3 2 Patrick Conrad 115 4 84X Matt Bowers R 112 5 05 Jeremy Colangelo R 101 6 3 Daniel Webster 95 7 12 Corey Freed 91 8 88 Justin Larson R 87 9 9 Kurt Jett 83 10 14 Travis Towell 79 11 80 Brian Finney 73 12 1 Fain Skinner 50 13 07 Dustin Henderson R 47 14 53 Brad Bischoff R 41 15 22 Dusty Cornelius 37 16 77 Patrick Williams R 25 Along with the Sunoco Sunbelt Super Late Model 125 will be the Modifieds, Pro Trucks, Sportsman, Super Stock, Mini Stock and Strictly Stock.
Pit gate will open at 2 pm with practice ALONE for the Sunbelt Super Late Model drivers from 3 to 4 pm. Division practice to follow with the Sunbelt drivers mixed into that practice. Qualifying for the Billie Harvey Memorial Sunoco Sunbelt 125 will begin at 6:30 pm.
Racing starts at 7:30 pm with general admission $20.00, students and seniors (62 and older) $15.00, children 11 and under FREE.
