Stars Pro Truck Results
From STARS Media

Auburndale Speedway, Florida

Thank you to to all the Truck Teams for showing their support for the new Florida Truck Touring Series, STARS PRO TRUCKS, with a 16 PRO Truck field and 4 Young Guns. We have heard from other teams that had prior commitments, and they have indicated that they will join us next time.

Our Young Guns took to the track first, pulling a two pill, the line up 1X of Max Bennett on the pole, #69 of Stephen Nasse, second row inside #7T of Chase Hoffman and the #36 of Ross Chastain. This feature was caution free, racing for 25 laps, with one pass for the lead, gave the 1X of Max Bennet the win. Our Young guns put on a great show. Trophies and gift certificates were handed out to the Young Guns. The racing was great and the fans really enjoyed it. These Young Guns made us very proud.

STARS YOUNG GUNS Results;

1 #1X Max Bennett
2 #69 Stephen Nasse
3 #7T Chase Hoffman
4 #36 Ross Chastain

On to our Pro's, the STARS Officials started out by announcing that $1000 to win was now up for grabs. The initial announcement was for a field of 20 or more Pro Trucks, but STARS PRO TRUCK RACING SERIES wanted to give back to the drivers for showing there support.

What an awsome night for racing, with no rain in sight for Friday or Saturday. With the big late model race just over the hill in lakeland, the fans also showed their support for their local Short Track, with a very good crowd in the grandstands.

The 50 lap STARS PRO TRUCK feature showed 5 cautions with the top 4 trucks checking out from the remainder of the field, with a battle for positions happening mid-pack back. What a great show! Fast Qualifer was the #407 of Jason Vail, who pulled a 4 pill for the start, putting the #33 of Casey Caudill on the pole, with the #01 of Travis Roland on the outside pole.The forth fastest quailfier was #18 of Dustin Henderson, who had to start 11th due to finishing 2nd in the last points carry over race from CCMP on 06/28/07.

Pole #33 Casey Caudill / #01 Travis Roland
2nd row #97 Patrick Staropoli / #407 Jason Vail

4th row #7T Bill Hoffman / #71 Barry Bartlett III
5th row #4 Al Neuman / #50 Dany Anderson
