Matthew Grissom started from the 3rd spot and moved to the front of the field where he would lead the early laps. Bob Smith took the lead away from Grissom on lap 6.
On lap 10 Grissom re-took the lead when Smith suffered a mechanical problem. Grissom lead the final five laps and took the win. Buck Woodhouse finished 2nd. Lonnie Smith was 3rd. Buckshot Meixner and Dave Floyd rounded out the top 5. David Strickland and Grissom won the heat races.
In the Limited Sprints points leader Gene Lasker started deep in the field in the 12th position. He was the car to beat using the entire track to get to the front of the field. Lasker won the feature, his 5th victory of the season. Michael Smith finished in 2nd position. Frank Beck, Time George, and Paulie Milum rounded out the top 5. Dustin Burtron and Beck won the heat races.
