Goodyear Challenge heads to USA International this Saturday, March 10

FASCAR MEDIA

In only 4 short days, the 2007 USAR Hooter's Pro Cup season will open along with the Goodyear Challenge Late Model Series. What does this mean??

It means there will be some great racing this weekend at USA International in Lakeland.

Opening night for any track or series is always an exciting one and this Saturday night at USA, it will be exciting. "We are very happy to open our 2007 season here at Lakeland," said Race Director Scott Jackman. "This year looks to be a really good one for the Goodyear Challenge with some old faces and some new faces in the field."

Among the expected entries for Lakeland is Rich Clouser of Palm Bay, the 2005 and 2006 Goodyear Challenge Late Model Champion. "Bbbby Sears and I are looking forward to this Saturday at Lakeland. We love the Goodyear Series and have enjoyed running it the last three years," said Clouser. "Lakeland is a neat place to race but you can't afford any mistakes there either. But hopefully we will have a good run, at least, better than our first outing last year in the Goodyear at Orlando. We were out of the race before it ever began and that was hard."

The Goodyear Challenge will have a practice session on Friday night at USA International from 7:05 p.m. to 8 p.m. The track will close for the night at 8:30 p.m.
