USA will host 2005 Speedfest January 27, 28, and 29

USA International Speedway will play host to its 1st Annual SpeedFest 2005 involving super late models in a North-South battle that will feature five of the best in series racing on Jan. 27 to Jan. 29 on USA’s three-quarter mile high-banked asphalt oval.
The super late model races will have a 100 lap race on Jan. 27 and Jan. 28 with a 200 lap race on Jan. 29. Each 100 lap race pays $3,000 to win and the 200 lap event pays $8,000 to win. All super late model feature races are scheduled for 8 p.m. each night.
These races will have the most competitive super late model series ever on USA Int’l Speedway including: FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Models; O’Reilly Southern All Star Racing Series; Super Series Champion Racing Association (CRA), formerly Sunoco Super Series; Pro All Star Series (PASS); United States Racing Association (USRA), formerly Romco Super Late Models.
Front gates open at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 and practice for super late models is scheduled from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 27, Friday, Jan. 28 and Saturday, Jan 29 grandstands open at noon. There will be two practices each day one at 1 p.m. and another at 2:30 p.m. Each practice session is scheduled to last for one hour.
Qualifying is scheduled for 5 p.m. each day. There will be a last chance race if needed starting at 7 p.m. each night.
Pre-race ceremonies begin at 7:30 p.m.
FASCAR Pro-Trucks and Southern All Star Trucks will run races on Jan. 27, 28 and Jan. 29 immediately following super late model features each night.

There is also an overnight camping area available behind turn four with free overnight R.V. parking. Campers should be self-contained.
