Ryan Mitchell gets Career Win #1 in Mini Stock Action at East Bay Raceway

Tampa, Fla - Young Ryan Mitchell had the top spot for 13
of the scheduled 15 lapper when veteran Spencer Buzbee
took the top spot on lap 14, but the youngster stayed
right on the rear bumper of Buzbee and when the veteran
got caught behind a lapped car in turn 3 on the final
lap, young Mitchell dove under Buzbee coming out of
turn 4 and crossed the finish line in the top spot to
get his first career win. The elated Mitchell in
victory lane thanks his many sponsors, his crews and
his parents for helping him get there.

Buzbee held on for second over Ken Rutledge, Scott
Howard and Rich Livernois, rounding out the top 10
were Danny Dowman, Jr., Greg Meredith, Jim Courson,
Scotty Williams and Rick Tamski. Roger Crouse easily
outran the field of Late Models to claim the win in
the 25 lap Mr. Budweiser Point Series race over David
Schmauss, Keith Nosbisch, Jack Nosbisch, Jr. and K.D.
Kelley, with Jeff Matthews, Jeff Choquette, Bobby
Alexander, Jr., Steve Mathis and Devin Dixon rounding
out the top 10. Sport Allen was the winner in the 25
lap Sprint Car main over Johnny Gilbertson, Brian
Maddox, Kenny Adams and Joe Meinick with Pualie Milium,
Danny Martin, Jr., Mike Senecal, Michael Smith and
Tommy Thompson rounding out the top 10.

Terry Bronson dove under Roger Crouse coming out of turn
4 for the checker to claim the win in Limited Late Model
action. Crouse held on for second over David Simpson,
Mike Rudder and Doug Decker with Ricky Land, Bill Howard,
John Norris, Tim Gay and David Boerner rounding out the
top 10. Don Gansner took his second Street Stock win in
a row as the former Champ held off Tim Hunt, Eric Johnson,
Rob Hall and Richard Peacock with Steve Johnson, Jason
Bronson, Rob Hall and Richard Peacock with Steve Johnson,
Jason Bronson, Jeffrey Meixner, Robert Fleming and Mac
Kersey rounding out the top 10. Racing action continues
next Saturday night with Late Models, Limited Late Models,
Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, and Open Wheel Modifieds.
