4th Annual Race For Kids Sake Set for January 7 at New Smyrna Speedway

by Jane Smith

Samsula, Fla - Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Volusia
County announced the fourth annual Race for Kids
Sake is set for January 7, 2003, at New Smyrna
Speedway.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters is a non-profit community
service organization dedicated to providing adult
friendships to children who need positive role
models and mentors. Big Brothers/Big Sisters
helps single parent children by giving them
emotional support and guidance to become mature
and responsible adults.

NASCAR drivers Mark Martin, Kurt Busch, 2002
Busch Grand National Champion Greg Biffle, Kyle
Petty, Johnny Benson, John Andretti, Jerry Nadeau,
Dave Blaney and Mike Skinner along with possibly
Steve Park, Ken Schrader, and Jeff Burton will
join in the night's festivities in a 15 lap race
in Late Models and an autograph session on the
grandstand side of New Smyrna Speedway.

Also on the program that night will be Strictly
Stocks, Super Stocks and Sportsman. Since all
monies raised will go to the children, there will
be no purses but drivers and one crew member will
get in free that night.

Fifteen dollar pre-sale tickets are available at
Volusia County Sun Trust Banks, Regent Banks, and
Daytona National Auto Mall. Tickets at the gate
will be $20.00 with children 12 and under free.
The night's activities will start at 7 p.m.

Come join in the fun, meet some of your favorite
Winston Cup drivers and help support Big Brothers/
Big Sisters of Volusia County. Afterall, it is
all for the kids.
