It's time to race!

Citrus County Speedway Rainout

Citrus County Speedway called the races due to severe
weather warnings and heavy rain for Saturday night,
6/22/02. This was official from Bob Eldredge, Billy
Hooker and Jimmy Ware. With severe weather warnings
in the area of the speedway at l:30 p.m. and numerous
heavy showers in the area and more on the way from
southern Florida management called the races early in
the day to hopefully prevent the many out of town
drivers from having to make the trip. The regular
schedule will hold for next Saturday night.

Citurs County Speedway will have the night off on
Saturday, July 6th in deference to the Pepsi 400
night race at Daytona and again on the 24th of August
for hte Citrus County Fair Association Antique
Tractor show and Tractor Pull.

to see the changes in the schedule and the addition
of the second leg of the Sunbelt Series Triple Crown
125 set for August 3rd, 2002. In addition extra Late
Model 125 for $5,000 to win action will take place
once a month until the 2nd of November, when the Fall
Finale 150 for $7,500 to win will run.

Figure 8's will return for 30 lap features on the fourth
Saturday of each month beginning July 27th. The Sports-
man "Citrus Truck Accessories 40" is also coming up on
the 20th of July. Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Hobby
Stocks, and Thunder Stocks will run on a regular weekly
schedule.
