Sport Allen Tops East Bay Sprints

Gisbsonton, Florida - In Saturday night Sprint action at East Bay Raceway Ken Elliott led the field to Julian Mullis' initial green flag, but going into turn 1, Tom Winegardner rolled his Excel #11 over and brought the race under red. At the half way point it was Allen, Melnick and Daryl Smith running top 3.

With Allen comfortably out front the battle was for second between Melnick Smith and Casey Johnson, with 2 laps to go Smith had to drop out of the battle as his Total Mobiltronics #3 began to run hot. Johnson passed Melnick with 2 to go and held on for second over Melnick, Brian Maddox and Sheldon Kinser Jr.

Heats went to Maddox and Melnick.
