| Kenny Adams GrabsThird Win At Putnam County Speedway | Terry Witherspoon set fast time of the night but everyone was well off the track record because of the intense heat and extreme dry conditions in Florida right now. Robbie Smith won the first heat followed by Roland Johnson and Witherspoon. Red Stauffer won heat two after swapping the lead several times with teammate Kenny Adams who finished second followed by Jerry Jones.
Jones led the field to green after the inversion but it would not take Adams long to get to the front from his starting position inside the second row. Kenny showed his dominance at the track once again lapping most of the field to pick up his third victory at the track this year. Roland Johnson finished second followed by Red Stauffer, Robbie Smith, Ronnie Smith, Jerry Jones, Robbie Hager, Tom Winegardner, Terry Witherspoon and Frank Carlson rounding out the top ten.
The next Sprint race will be June 1st then the Summer Nationals on July 5th & 6th.
