Michael Faulk visited the USA International Speedway in Lakeland, FL last week to begin testing on the new MB3 Motorsports Lift-Off Energy Drink Dodge Ram. The team plans to make their NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Debut at Indianapolis Raceway Park on August 5th for the Power Stoke Diesel 200.
"We've purchased two trucks from Jim Smith and the Ultra Motorsports team and plan on racing 4 to 5 races this year" said MB3 Motorsports owner Michael Burton. "If things work out, we plan on running the entire 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule." The team will make a trip to Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 13th and 14th to test alongside Ted Musgrave and Jimmy Spencer and the rest of the Ultra Motorsports team.
"It's a great opportunity to see where we are compared to current top NASCAR teams," said Faulk. "It's also a chance to learn from some of the best drivers in the series." Faulk is currently participating as a rookie in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. The team is 14th in overall points, and 2nd in the rookie championship race heading into the 2nd half of the series.
The next stop for the team will be Saturday, June 4th at USA International Speedway for the Naturally Fresh 250 presented by Advance Discount Auto Parts.
