March 29, 2005 TBARA Readies For Dick Friedley Memorial Race The Tampa Bay Area Racing Association will hold the 4th annual 'Dick Friedley Memorial ' race on April 2, 2005 at Charlotte County Speedway. The always "on the edge of your seat" TBARA program will consist of 3 heat races of 8 laps each and a 30 lap feature honoring Mr. Friedley. Dick Friedley passed away in 2001; he had a big part in making the TBARA what it is today. The three previous winners are Wayne Reutimann, Jr. in 2004, Joey Aguilar in 2003 and Sport Allen in 2002. With seven races into the season the points race for 2005 is shaping up to be a very competitive, Dave Steele leads with 353 points, followed by Keith Butler with 325, Troy DeCaire is third with 292, and Shane Butler follows closely with 288.
