Gulfcoast Modified Invade Charlotte County June 5th

by Rick Warren

The Corteco Gaskets/GulfCoast Modifieds once again have the good fortune to be racing at the Charlotte County Speedway. All the racers are looking forward to returning to the fast 3/8 mile oval.

After last month’s exciting race, Lee Collins went home with the win, and the point lead. The top five in the points race are separated by a mere 65 points, so the championship is still up for grabs and wide open.

The Rookie of the Year race is still very tight, with Mike Hinegardner holding a slim 24 point edge over Danny Partelo. The top 3 in the rookie chase are separated by only 45 points !

Dwayne Dempsey was looking strong at the last race before mechanical problems ended his race early. Will Dempsey be able to return as strong as before?

Will Collins be the first repeat winner in the series? How about Danny Partelo, Teddy Nelson, Ralph Bowman, Timmy Moore, or Rob Partelo? Will one of these great racers be the next Winner? Or will it be someone else??

Saturday night, June 5, Charlotte County Speedway !! Be sure to be there, and see the best Open Wheel Modified Drivers in the State of Florida compete for the win, and the lucrative point championship of the Corteco Gaskets/GulfCoast Modifieds.

Don't forget, the competition for fast qualifier, as well as the cash award for the hard charger of the race. Look forward to seeing you this Saturday night, for some outstanding racing action of Charlotte
County Speedway!!
