1st Annual Winter Nationals at Orlando SpeedWorld

ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando Speedworld has opened its winter doors with their 1st Annual Winter National racing program being held from Feb. 9 – Feb 14 on their three-eighths mile high banked asphalt oval.

The Orlando track will give auto race fans a chance to see some first class racing activities involving Legends, Bandeleros, Thunder Roadsters, BM Modifieds and Baby Grands.

On Feb. 9 there will be a lunch and press briefing starting at noon with practice beginning at 1 p.m. for all divisions. Race schedules and individual class times will be available at track or on FASCAR.org.

Parking is FREE! -- Tow Vehicles ONLY in Pit Area - Must line up in Parking Lot according to registration number - no one allowed in pits prior to 8 a.m.

The Legend cars will have three competing classes with new drivers in Semi Pro Class, those over 40 years of age will be in Masters Class and proven veteran drivers will run in Pro Class.

All three Legend Divisions will time trial nightly before program begins. Heats and features nightly with overall point champions in three divisions rewarded with point fund and trophy.

Racing begins at 8 p.m. nightly starting Feb. 10. The only change in racing is Sat. Feb. 14 when racing begins at 7 p.m.

The first night of racing grandstand admission is free all other night it’s $5. Children under 12 are free and pit admittance is $25 for all.

So far there are 108 Legend drivers from 14 states and one driver from the United Kingdom.

Race admission for adults is $5. Children 11 and under are free. The pit charge is $25 for all.
