Samsula, Fla. (December 30, 2003) New Smyrna Speedway will return to racing action this Saturday night with the Red Eye 100, the first race of the new year featuring some of the best Super Lates the state of Florida has to offer.

Last year's winner was Mike Good followed by Daniel Keene, Bruce Lawrence, Aric Almirola and Jim "Hoot" Flynn. These drivers and many more are expected for Saturday night's action.

Along with the Super Late Models in their 100 lap event will be FASCAR Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Stock, Mini Stock and Strictly Stock.

The Red Eye 100 is a stepping stone for the Super Lates for the first Team FASCAR Sunbelt Super Late Model race on January 31, the Pete Orr Memorial Orange Blossom 125.

Pit gates will open at 2 p.m. Saturday with tech inspections starting at 2:30. The Super Lates will practice from 3:30 to

Team FASCAR would like to wish all fans, drivers, and crews a very Happy New Year and see you all at the Red Eye 100 Saturday night!!!
