| Outlaw Modified Race Results 5/18/02 at DeSoto Speedway | Fast exciting action is a pretty good recap of Saturday's
night action at DeSoto Speedway for this open wheeled
class. Ted Hoversen #5, after a run on the outside,
captured the lead and then fought off good charges by
both Steve Quick #l and Phillip Brigham #7 to hold
the lead. Rookies Doug Hooper #15 and Mike Kohut #83
staged their own battle for the fourth spot with Hopper
coming out ahead. Ted becomes the only two time
winner this year after 6 races in this very competitive
series. The Outlaws next race is June lst at Charlotte
County Speedway.
