Wright Takes Two in a Row; Bergman Gets First Win at St Augustine

St.Augustine,Fl. Terry Wright pulled off his second win a row Saturday night. The Thunder Truck rookie looked anything like a rookie when he passed Ricky Cooper after Coopers truck got loose in turn four. Cooper finished second followed by Robert Gorman, Troy Kruse and Mitch Doughtery.

The big question in Hobby Stocks is Who can beat Chris Manucy? It took only 7 laps for Manucy to take the lead from Randy Wilks. Chasing Manucy at the checkers was J. Cline, Shea Clay, Rodney Norman, and Jay May.

Ministocks had Steve Thompson in Victory Circle. After Thompson was Jay Farris, Troy Kruse,Mike Stover, Jr. and Curt Messina.

Marc Bergman got his first feature by leading all 25 laps of the Modified feature. Chasing Bergman was Larry Osteen, Russ Miscully, John Galbraight, Mike Batton.

Late Models looked more like a demolition derby than a car race.Surviving the carnage was Larry Osteen for the win. Following Osteen was Wade Lynn, Jody Turner, Jeremy Bird and Doyle Boatwright. Sportsman winner was Davey Cline. Jared Allison was flagged in third but do to rough driving was given last place. Officials also placed Scott Lagasse, Jr. next to last for action detrimental to the sport.
