ADAMS GETS SECOND IN A ROW

Michael Smith led the 21 car starting field of Sprint cars to Kenny Marshall's green flag, however by lap 1 it was Danny Curry out front and running away. That is until Kenny Adams worked his way through traffic to run Curry down and take over the lead on lap 13.

Adams never looked back after that as he cruised home for his 2nd win in a row at East Bay Raceway Saturday night. Curry held on for second over Gene Lasker, Casey Johnson and Sheldon Kinser Jr. Heats went to Micheal Smith and Sheldon Kinser Jr.

Casey Johnson out ran Bubba the Love Sponge and Sheldon Kinser Jr. to take the Goodson Farms $1000 to win Strawberry Dash.

In Late Model action it was David Schmauss taking his first of the young season as he easily outran Bill Howard, Roger Crouse, Donnie Tanner and Ted Erskine. Heats went to Schmauss and Bob Peterson. The win was worth an extra $300 for Schmauss as he claimed the Buddy's Home Furnishing 100 days same as cash bonus.

In Limited Late Models it was 2 in a row for Jerry Rogers as he outran Forrest Gough, Raymond Rogers, Jerry White and Terry Gay. Heats went to Jerry Rogers and Richard Kessinger.

The Mini Stocks fell to defending Champion Devin Dixon for the second week in a row. Forrest Gough, Scotty Williams, William Hampton and Ken Rutledge rounded out the top 5.

Heats went to Rutledge, Williams and Greg Pae. The Street Stocks went to Timmy Bronson over John Borders, Jason Bronson, Mac Kersey and Danny Paris. Heats were taken by Terry Bronson, John Borders and Danny Paris with the consi going to Tim Spencer.
