Nosbich wins $2500 Mr Bud Late Model Shoot Out at Eastbay

Valrico's Keith Nosbisch took the lead from Rusty Dixon at Lap 25 and easily cruised home the winer in the Late Model Hoosier 50 Lap event at East Bay Raceway on Saturday night. Nosbisch started in 8th and worked carefully to the front, following Dixon for several laps, when Dixon drifted high, Nosbisch capitalized and never looked back enroute to the $2500 paycheck. Bobby Alexander Jr., Donnie Tanner, Rusty Dixon adn Bob Peterson rounded out the top 5.

The Sprints had 2 shootouts and the first one went to a very excited Darryl Smith as the young Gibsonton chauffer grabbed his first career East Bay win over Darrin Miller, Tim Holston, 13 Year old Jordan Richardson and 98 Rock personality Bubba the Love Sponge.

The second shootout found Paulie Milum taking the win over Tommy Thomson, Joe Melnick and Bob Auld.

Dorsey Strickland took the lead from 2001 Rookie of the year Dustin Perez at the halfway point and claimed the win in Mini Stocks, Perez held on for second over Rich Livernois, Chad Rose and Ken Rutledge.

The Limited Late Models found Ricky Land grabbing his first of the season as he held off 2001 Mr. Limited Late Model Budweiser winner David Simpson, William Hampton, Jeff Mathews and David Boerner rounded out the top 5.

In Street Stocks the first main went to Eric Johnson as he claimed his first A main win over Eric Teal, David Riner, Timmy Bronson and Loren Bailey. The second Street Stock main went to Steve Johnson as he made it a sweep for the Johnson brothers and the Kelly Racing team. Steve Burch, Steve Spencer, David Strickland and James Escobar rounded out the top 5.
