| CLYDE POOLE TAKES $2500 TO WIN MR. BUDWEISER LIMITED SPRINT RACE | by Ken Sands
Gibsonton's Clyde Poole, former Limited Sprint Track Champion, brought out his old car and drove it to victory in the Budweiser Mr. Limited Sprint race on Saturday Sept. 29. Poole did have a little bit of lady luck on his side as Tim George who appeared to be on his way to the win got taken out by a lapped car, along with second running Andy Kelley, giving the lead to Poole who capitalized on the situation and cruised home to the win. Terry Fritcher in his best run of the seaason came home second followed by David Kelley, Andy Kelley and Darrin Miller. Donnie Maxwell and Tim George took heat wins.
In 360 Sprints it was Sport Allen coming from his 13th starting spot to take the win in the JANI KING SPRINT MAIN over 15 year old Danny Martin Jr., veteran Joe Melnick, 16 year old Casey Johnson and Sarasota's Paulie Milum.
The JANI KING LATE MODEL main went to Phillip Cobb over Roger Crouse, David Schmauss, Bobby Alexander Sr., and Bobby Alexander Jr.
The JANI KING LIMITED LATE MODEL main went to Jeff Mathews over Forrest Gough, Jamie Burrows, Phillip Brower and David Boerner.
Scott Howard took the JANI KING MINI STOCK main over Rusty Dixon, Scotty Williams, Chris Livernois and Forrest Gough.
The JANI KING STREET STOCK first main went to John Borders over Mike Gamache, Chad Smith, Mac Kersey and David Strickland. The Second main went to Tim Hunt over Timmy Bronson, Steve Johnson, Jeff Stewart and Richard Peacock.
The JANI KING PURE STOCK main went to Jody Collins over Mark Cooper and Troy Buckles.
