By Rick Anges

Bradenton, Fl. - Bill Davis #7 finally got the monkey off his back and roared to the winners circle in the S.A.R.A. Pro Truck series.

Shane Russ who led most of the early laps was sent to the rear of the field for two infractions on restarts.

The Bill Davis #7 truck was hooked up keeping a good line through the turns. An exuberant Davis in the winners circle said the win was his Fathers day present to his Dad Gene Crew Chief 02 Davis.

Following Bill across the line was the #12 of Thomas Carter who also had a strong race truck all night, third went Bobby Spaeth
#15, Shane Russ was able to bring his mount from the back of the pack for fourth and finishing fifth was the #3 of Brian Donahue.

Marty Pierce Dominates SARA

Pierce was the fast qualifier for the event and started from the pole by the roll of the die.

Brad Barkis #10x did everything he could to try and get by Pierce on the restarts but the red #75 car was just to strong and would pull away after several laps.

Barkis was able to hold off the pack of machines behind him to take second. Current points leader Steve Dorer #10 was third, Mulberrys Wayne Morris #56 took fourth and rounding out the top five was veteran racer Edward Howell in the #62 Rick Wilson owned machine.
