After the thrills and spills of last weekend's Triple Crown, Orlando SpeedWorld will hold it's last racing event until March 200l this Friday, November 24. The Classic Cars and Dwarf Cars will run, the Classics for their National event, and there will be the ever-popular CRASHARAMA Night. School Bus Figure 8 races, camper-trailer races, boat-trailer races and even a Jet Car. But during the intermission there will be a special race - BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.

Brevard County, just like New Smyrna Speedway and the Bradenton area and Hialeah, have their own race show on Sunday night from 7 to 9 on 91.5 FM. The show's host, T-Bone, has a slightly slanted point of view when it comes to women and racing. Ms. FASTALK Radio happens to be a racer, when she can borrow the car.

Since this is Orlando's last race until March 200l, Ms FASTALK and T-Bone will be the night's special race in Strickly Stocks. Tracy Jackson and Donnie Smith have graciously loaned the two drivers their cars, the number 13 and 22, and Friday is TRUTH day.

Since I happen to be the mom of Ms FASTALK and yet one of the radio hosts, I am caught dead center of this heated debate on women and their endurance in racing. But I do believe there will be a day when a woman will win a Winston Cup race and I do believe that Friday, Ms FASTALK will represent the female community of racing with style and grace.

So come out, with jackets and gloves, on Friday night, November 24, for a night of Classic Cars, Dwarf Cars, CRASHARAMA and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
