IT'S TIME TO RACE!!
March 21, 2005
Chuck Frazier wins Wayne Weaver Modifed Mini 50 Memorial at Auburndale
Saturday Night March 19, was a special night at the speedway as we gave tribute to a fellow driver that lost his life last year. We had the 1st Annual Wayne Weaver 50 Lap Modified Mini Memorial Race.

The night started out with time trials for the Modified Mini's and then we had the parade lap which was lead by the Teco Electric Company Trucks (Wayne worked for Teco) and Laura Weaver, (Waynes daughter driving the #58 car that was her dad's).

This was a 50 lap race paying $500 to win, we only had 6 cars participate and the full purse was paid as advertised. The race was won by Chuck Frazier in the #21 car.

At payoff I presented Chuck with the trophy that was engraved in honor of Wayne with the quote that was on the back of Waynes Car," Power in The Blood", Chuck said this trophy means more to him than anything, at that time Laura came up to get her pay and we showed her the trophy that Chuck won, and he asked Laura if she wanted it, she said you won it, Chuck said you take it, it was for your father, and you should have it. I am ordering a duplicate trophy for Chuck. The finishing order of the race were:
