Doug Moff has had his share of bad luck after dominating the beginning of the season. Moff's season almost ended with a hard crash into the turn four wall that literally destroyed the front of his racecar several months ago. Moff was involved in several other incidents that kept him out of the winners circle and was watching his huge points lead start to dwindle.
Moff showed he was not ready to give up that easy as he came out and was fast qualifier and dominated the Turner Tree and Landscape 100 lap feature. Moff at one point had a half a lap lead over the rest of the field and easily cruised to the win. Second went to Chad Allman, third in a strong run was Bill Davis, fourth was Lonny Miller and in the fifth spot was Ron Lofquist.
Pure Stocks Twenty-four cars strong roared out on to the speedway for the pure stock feature event. The racing was hot and heavy sometimes going three wide in the 25-lap race; plenty of paint and sheet metal was swapped during the event.
When the smoke cleared it was Dale Shelton taking the win, second was Jimmy Best, third went to Keith Thorbin, fourth was Aaron Williamson and rounding out the top five was Darrin Ellis.
Street Stocks William Slack had his ride on a line as cruised to the win in the Street Stock feature event, second went to Brad Price on a last lap pass over Casey Hall, fourth was Greg Krom and rounding out the top five was Jonathan Hiedenthal.
Sportsman Bubba Thompson made it three in a row taking the win in crash filled sportsman feature, James Casady was second, third went Jimmy Carter, fourth across the stripe Ed Kratzert and fifth was Aaaron Williamson.
Mini Stock Once he got out front he was never challenged as a happy Jon Bailey took the checkered flag in the Mini Stocks, Todd Freed jr came from the back of the pack to take second, third was John Wilson, fourth went to Steve Booth and fifth Dean Butrum.
Cowboy Caddies Mike Amo took the "Big Black 10" machine to the winners circle in the cowboy caddies feature event over, Johnny Sarppraicone, James Robinson, Roy Nelson, Bill Manfull and Roger Swinton.
Open Wheels Pat Nanney's Mopar was the car to beat as he roared to the winners circle in the Open Wheels, second went to the "Rattlesnake" Steve Perez, third was Timmy Moore, fourth was Andy Dyndal and fifth went to Kevyn Terry.
Legends Patrick Conrad was the winner in the legends feature, second Jordan Richardson, third Sam Watts, fourth was Anthony Campi and fifth went to Johnny Sarppraicone.
Bill Manfull made the kid's night as he sponsored a running/ bike race. Over fifty kids came out onto the track and had a foot race from the line in turn four to the start finish line. The top five hopped on bikes and raced on lap around the speedway. The top three took home trophies and all five were able to keep the brand new bikes.
