IT'S TIME TO RACE!!

F.M.S.A. Results Thundercross October 11th
F.M.S.A. traveled back to the awesome Thundercross Motorsports Park in Okeechobee Florida. With a Full Moon, the stands packed and lots of cars in all the classes it was sure to be another night of fast side-by-side racing.

The 1st. heat lined up with the #4 of Bud Schreiber and the #11 of Cory Spencer on the front row. When the green flag dropped the #4 of Bud Schreiber took the lead with the #11 of Cory Spencer in 2nd. While Bud led the field the #95 of Tom “Figgy” Newton moved his way up to the 3rd. place and the #3X of Alex Mills up to 4th. Bud Schreiber driving the #4 (Diamond Pawn) went on to win the 1st. heat race with the #11 of Cory Spencer in 2nd. and the #95 of Tom “Figgy: Newton in 3rd.

The 2nd. Heat race started with the #19T of Matt Tiffany and the #20 of Harold Matthews on the front line. When the green flag flew the #20 of Harold Matthews took the lead with the #86 of Russ Heider in 2nd. On lap 5 the caution came out for debris on the track. Once the race restarted the #20 of Harold Matthews led the field with the #86 in 2nd until the #7 of Jesse Teed made the pass on the outside of turn 1&2 to take over the 2nd. Place. The #7 would catch the #20 and they would battle it out for the lead with the #7 all over the #20 inside and out. Going into turn 1 on the last lap the #7 of Jesse Teed would go high but the #20 slid up and the #7 would get underneath the #20 down the back stretch and go on to Win the 2nd. Heat race with the #20 of Harold Matthews in 2nd.and the #86 of Russ Heider in 3rd.

The Feature Event lined up with the #11 of Cory Spencer and the #4 of Bud Schreiber starting on the front row. The #11 of Cory Spencer would take the lead once the race started. The field would be 2 and 3 wide during the 1st. few laps of the race. With Cory leading the race the #7 of Jesse Teed, the #19T of Matt Tiffany and the #71 of John Craddock would make their way through the field to get to the front. The #7 of Jesse Teed would catch the #11 of Cory Spencer but would have trouble getting by. While the #7 was trying to get by the #11, the #19T of Matt Tiffany would make the move and get by both of them to take over the lead. Once the #7 of Jesse Teed would get by the #11 of Cory Spencer the #11 would fade towards the back. The caution would fly for the #20 of Harold Matthews and the #5 of Steve Crabtree who would finally get together after slicing and dicing back and forth for position. Tiffany would try to restart the race twice but the green flag would not wave do to the fact that the #19T jumped the start. Once the flagman warned the #19T the restart was good and the #19T would lead the field with the #7 of Jesse Teed in 2nd. and the #71 of John Craddock in 3rd. Matt Tiffany driving the #19T (Indepenent Printing Inc.of Daytona Beach) Bailey Chassis would go on to Win the Feature Event for the 2nd. time this year with the #7 of Jesse Teed in 2nd. #71 of John Craddock in 3rd.
