Florida Mini Sprint Results Thundercross
The Florida Mini Sprint Association traveled south to the beautiful Thundercross Motorsports Park with great weather in Okeechobee Florida.

The 1st. Heat started out with #11 of Cory Spencer taking the lead till lap 2 when the #19 of Mike Thomas took the point. Mike would break a spud mount on the chassis and give the lead to the #6 of Mike Schroeder. The #20 of Harold Matthews would make his way through the field, and take the lead from the #6 on lap 5 and go on to Win the 1st. heat race of the night.

The 2nd. heat race would start with the #95 of Tom”Figgy” Newton taking the lead until the #7 of Jesse Teed made the pass for the 1st. position with the #19T of Matt Tiffany in 2nd. John Craddock driving the #71 would get by the #19T by lap 3 to take over the 2nd. spot. Jesse Teed would go on to Win the 2nd. Heat Race with the #71 of John Craddock in 2nd.,and the #19T of Matt Tiffany in 3rd.

The feature Event lined up with the #11 of Cory Spencer and the #69 of TJ”Raymond” Heider on the front row. The #11 of Cory Spencer would jump on the start to take the early lead till a red flag would fly.The accident happened in turn 1&2 with the #24 of Tom Blackburn and the #6 of Mike Schroeder getting together and hitting the #71 of John Craddock and putting the #71 into the wall. The field would bunch back up restart the race again but the #24 and #6 got into each other down the back straight-away bring out the caution. The field bunched back up with no laps completed and Cory Spencer would take the early lead and the #71 of John Craddock crew would get Craddock back in the race with no laps down. Spencer would lead for 5 to 6 laps with the #69 of TJ Raymond in 2nd. and the #20 of Harold Matthews in 3rd. as the #86 of Russ Heider and the #7 of Jesse Teed battled it out for the 4th. spot. Teed would make his way pass the #86 on lap 4 and the #69. The #20 of Harold Matthews would come across the shadow of the #7 on lap 5 but pushed up coming out of turn 2 and Teed would make the pass down the back straight-away. Jesse made his way pass the #11 of Cory Spencer for the front spot with the #19T of Matt Tiffany following through. While the front pack was slicing and dicing the #71 of John Craddock was battling it out with the #86 of Russ Heider for the 3rd. spot with a bent front chassis. Jesse Teed would Win the Feature Event with the #19T of Matt Tiffany close behind. Jesse Teed would Win his 3rd. straight feature in a Row and extend his point lead over the #71 of John Craddock. The #86 of Russ Heider would finish 3rd. with Craddock 4th. and the #69 of TJ “Raymond” Heider rounding out the top 5 positions.
