F.M.S.A. Results Thundercross 628
F.M.S.A. returned to Thundercross Motorsports Park under cloudy skies. But the weather would hold up for all the racing action to get in.

The 1st. Heat race started with the #71 of John Craddock taking the lead with the #86 of Russ Heider following in second. The Heat race would run from start to finish with the #71 of John Craddock taking the Win. Russ Heider driving the #86 would finish 2nd. and the #5 of Steve Crabtree in 3rd..

The 2nd. Heat race began with the #24 of Tom Blackburn leading for a short time till the #19t of Matt Tiffany would make the pass coming out of turn 2 and take the lead. Matt Tiffany in the #19t would go on to win his 1st. Heat race of his rookie career. Tom Blackburn in the #24 would finish 2nd. And the #11 of Cory Spencer rounded out the top
3 positions.

The Feature Event lined up with the #24 of Tom Blackburn and the #11 of Cory Spencer on the front row. When the race began the #24 of Tom Blackburn would take the lead for a lap or two until the #19t of Matt Tiffany got by and take the top spot. The #7 of Jesse Teed would follow to take the 2nd. Spot from the #24. The #86 of Russ Heider would also move through the field to take the 3rd. position. The #71 of John Craddock would fade back through the field with the #5 of Steve Crabtree making his own line on the outside to pass a few cars to take the 4th. Position. The Feature Event would run from green flag to the checkered flag with the #19t of Matt Tiffany from Daytona Beach, Fl taking his 1st. Feature Win sponsored by (Independent Printing). Matt would become the youngest driver to ever win a feature event in F.M.S.A. history. The #7 of Jesse Teed would follow in the 2nd. Position and the #86 of Russ Heider would finish in the 3rd. position.

Florida Mini Sprint Association would make it back to Volusia Speedway Park since the 2003 Winternationals to race along with the NLMS.



The first heat race would line up with the #2 of Allen Craig and the #19t of Matt Tiffany on the front row. When the green flag dropped the #2 of Alan Craig would jump ahead to take the lead, as the #19t would fade back a few spots. The #5 of Steve Crabtree would move through the field to take the 2nd. Spot with the #7 of Jesse Teed in 3rd. The race would finish in that order with no cautions.



The 2nd. Heat race started with the #11 of Cory Spencer taking the lead from the #69 of TJ (Heider) Raymond. The #11 would lead for a while till the #24 of Tom Blackburn would run up through the field to make the pass on the

Inside going into turn one. The #24 of Tom Blackburn would go on to win the heat race with the #11 in 2nd. And the #17 of Rick Stuteville rounding out the top 3.



The Feature race started with the #19 of Mike Thomas and the #20 of Harold Matthews of Jacksonville in the pole positions. The #20 of Harold Matthews would jump in the lead for a few lap till his motor slowed down. The #2 of Allen Craig would make his way through the field to take the lead with the #7 of Jesse Teed in the 2nd. Spot. The cars would get spread out till the caution came out for the #11 of Cory Spencer which was stop on the front straight-away. When the field restarted the #2 of Allen Craig would resume the lead with the #21m of Johnny Miller passing the #7 of Jesse Teed on the start to take the 2nd. Position. The #19t of Matt Tiffany would make his way through the field to take the 4th. Spot. Allen Craig on Dunnellon, FL (Craig Trucking) would go on to take his 1st. Win of the season with the #21m of Johnny Miller in 2nd. and the #7 of Jesse Teed in 3rd..
