Citrus County Speedway Cancels Saturday Night 6/21/03

(Inverness, Fl. 6/20/03) Four Days of rain and severe flooding conditions throughout the west coast of Florida have put a damper on any possibilty of racing at Citrus County Speedway Saturday night. The infield looks more like a lake than a race track and unless we can get some volunteers for a boat race it appears we are out of business for this weekend.

Figure 8's and Late Models were scheduled to see action for the first time in several weeks. Now the Late Models won't get back on the schedule until July 12th. Pro Modifieds are scheduled for next week 6/28 with the Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Hobby Stocks and Thunder Stocks. No make up date has been set for the Figure 8's as yet but we will post it if andwhen we get the word. The regular schedule has them set to race on July 19th.

Citrus County Speedway will be dark on July 5th in deference to the Pepsi 400 at Daytona. It's a little tough to bump heads with the big boys so we'll take our final week off until the end of the season, November 8, 2003.
