Jefferson continues Open Wheel Domination, Sport Allen Takes FASTSprints feature
By Rick Anges

Bradenton,Fl. Wayne "the Rocketman" Jefferson continued hid winning ways at the High Banks of DeSoto Speedway taking the 35 lap feature win. Jefferson took the win over second place and current points leader Andy Dyndul, third went to Timmy Moore, fourth was Lee Collins returning after a long hiatus to the open wheel ranks and rounding out the top five was Chet Senogossoff.

FASTSprints

Sport Allen has long been known as one of the top Sprint car drivers in the state of Florida and has made a name for himself around the country. Allen was crowned "King of the 360 Sprints" at the East Bay winternationals earlier this year a title that is highly touted.

Allen started the 17-car feature event in the fourth position. Lee Cipray jumped out to the early lead and for most the race was able to hold off the charge of Allen but the crafty veteran found the line and late in the race took the lead and never looked back cruising to the checkered flag. Behind Allen in second was Cipray, third went to Tommy Nichols, fourth was Shane Miller and rounding out the top five was Jeff Daneau.

Mini Stocks

John Wilson started on the point and took the mini stock feature green to checkers, second place with a great charge from the rear of the pack was Todd Freed Jr., third was Mike Gayle, fourth went to Joe Gagen and rounding out the top five was Bill Alden.
