F.M.S.A. Thundercross Race Results
F.M.S.A. traveled back to the Well-Prepared Thundercross Motorsports Park for some Fast Action Racing.

The 1st. heat race started with the #7 of Jesse Teed and #86 of Russ Heider on the pole. Jesse took the lead from the start with the #86 fading through the field. Allen Craig driving the #2 took the 2nd. spot with the #5 of Steve Crabtree running 3rd. The #7 of Jesse Teed would go on to Win the heat race from start to finish.

The 2nd. heat race started out with the #8 of Johnny Sutton taking the lead with the #69 and #24 battling it out with on another for the 2nd. spot. The #24 of Tom Blackburn would take the 2nd. position with the #19t of Matt Tiffany following through. The caution flag would wave for a spin out which would bunch up the field with 4 laps to go.

Tom Blackburn driving the #24 Stallard Chassis Mini Sprint would past the #8 on the restart of the race. The #19t of Matt Tiffany would pass the #8 to take the 2nd. position and drive up to the #24 on the last lap, but Tom Blackburn would take his 2nd. heat win of the season.

The 16 Car field lined up for the main event with the #44 of Rusty Clardy and the #8 of Johnny Sutton on the front row. When the green flag waved the #44 of Rusty Clardy took the point with the #8 in 2nd. with the #7 in 3rd.. The #7 of Jesse Teed passed the #8 on lap2 and then the #44 by lap3 to take the lead.

As the #8 and #44 started falling through the field the #2 of Allen Craig and the #71 of John Craddock moved up to take over the 2nd. and 3rd. position. The #7 of Jesse Teed would run off from the rest of the field and lapped 6 cars by halfway.

The red flag would come out on lap12 for the #44 of Rusty Clardy of Okeechobee, Fl take broke his steering and would hit the outside wall in turn 4. The EMT would take Rusty off on a back-board once the Rescue Crew got him stable for safety pre-cautions.

Once the race was restarted the #7 would leave the field with the #2 in 2nd. and the #5 running in 3rd..,the #33 of Tom Wilson would follow in 4th. with the #19t of Matt Tiffany running a close 5th.

The race win and point lead would go to the #7 of Jesse Teed of Orlando, Fl in the T-Bone Chassis ,Full Spectrum Racing Sponsored Mini Sprint with the #2 of Allen Craig in 2nd.,#5 of Steve Crabtree in 3rd.,#33 of Tom Wilson in 4th. and the #19t of Matt Tiffany in the 5th. position.

F.M.S.A. wants to Thank all the Thundercross Motorsports Park Staff for the excellent Care of the #44 of Rusty Clardy who would check out of the hospital with a broken foot and a few broken toes. Also the #8 of Johnny Sutton would be checked out after the race by the Thundercross EMT’s and would suffer from heat exhaustion .
