John Craddock Wins FMSA Thundercross Feature
The Florida Mini Sprint Association was back in Full-Force this weekend at Thundercross Motorsports Park. With the track in excellent shape the FMSA Drivers was going to give the Fans their monies worth.

The 1st.heat race started out with the #95 of Tom “Figgy” Newton leading the way along with the #69 of TJ (Heider) Raymond in the #95 ‘s tracks. The #24 of Tom Blackburn would run a distant 3rd. till the #19T of Matt Tiffany would catch the #24 Car and get around him after starting last. Tom “Figgy” Newton would lead the majority of the race till the #69 of TJ (Heider) Raymond would pass the #95 with a few laps to go and would take his 2nd. Heat Win of the Season. Tom Newton driving the #95 would finish 2nd. With #19T of Matt Tiffany rounding out the top 3 positions.

The 2nd. Race was led from start to finish by the #5 of Steve Crabtree with the #71 of John Craddock in 2nd. But would fade back with the #33 of Tom Wilson get by. The race would be between the 2nd. Through 4th. Spot until the #86 of Russ Heider would lose the front tire and spin out coming out of the fourth turn. The #5 of Steve Crabtree would led the restart to the checkered flag with the #33 in 2nd. And the #71 in 3rd.spot.

The Main Feature Event would line up with the #32 of Will Creech and #69 of TJ (Heider) Raymond starting out on the front row. Once the green flag dropped the race would be intense with lots of two-wide racing and some three-wide action at times. Steve Crabtree driving the #5 (D&H Radiator) Bailey Chassis would come from the 8th. Starting spot to lead the race just after a few laps. The slicing and dicing for position was all through the field. The #33of Tom Wilson would get loose coming out of turn 2 but would stay on the gas and get back on the track. The #86 of Russ Heider would find himself battling it out with the #7 of Jesse Teed and the #71 of John Craddock that were coming up through the field. The #7 of Jesse Teed would take the 2nd. Spot after passing Craddock on the outside. The #19T of Matt Tiffany would move up through the field till he spun out coming out of 4.Steve Crabtree would led the restart till he broke the front end steering and spin out in turns 3 and 4. The #7 of Jesse Teed would led the field on the restart with the #71 of John Craddock in 2nd. The 2 Veterans of the FMSA would battle back in forth for the top spot with Craddock taking the low line and Teed running up top on the Cushion. Meanwhile after the #33 of Tom Wilson starting to come up through the pack. After laps of back in forth side by side action for the #1 spot the #71 took the lead with the #7 in 2nd. Spot until the #33 of Tom Wilson got by. Craddock driving the #71 sponsored by (Napa Auto Parts, John Smith Electrical, Quality Roofing, TAK Environmental, Bunnell Auto Supply) Bailey Chassis would win the Feature Event. With #33 of Tom Wilson in 2nd. And the #7 of Jesse Teed in 3rd. just beating the #2 of Allen Craig at the line. The #19T of Matt Tiffany of Dayton Beach, FL made his way back through the pack after spinning out to finish 5th. Position. With lots of Side-by-Side Racing the Thundercross Motorsports Park Fans got a Good Dirt Show…Excellent Job to all the Drivers, and Thank You for the Professional Sportsmanship.

Heat 1- 69,95,19T, 24,8,32,11

Heat 2- 5,33,71,2,7,86 DNF

Feature- 71,33,7,2,19T, 24,86,69,4,8,DNF-11, 5,32,95,20
