Heat 2 (8 laps) 18 Shane Butler, 51 Mark Gimmler, 68 Dude Teate, 19 Keith Butler, 6F Bill Pettijohn, 47 Richard Waddell.

Feature (25 laps) 51 M Gimmler, 18 S Butler, 19 K Butler,
33c Sambor, 6 Faulconer, 47 Waddell, 6F Pettijohn, 3 Burnett, 29 G Gimmler DNF, 68 Teate DNF, 22 Heveron DNF, 2 Adema DNF.

Notes - Shane Butler led from the original green until the red flag for accident in turn 2 on lap 17. Incident began when Keith Butler spun into infield and sprayed the track with rocks and dirt with the cars of G Gimmler, Heveron and Teate all finished for the night with crash damage. Shane had a RR tire go flat on the red flag and he changed it but went to the rear, giving lead to Mark Gimmler. Mark never looked back and scored his first career TBARA victory at a track where he had great success in TQ midgets over the years. Mark also padded his rookie points lead. Shane got past brother Keith for runner-up honors on lap 22. With only a dozen cars on hand it was the lowest TBARA car count of the season.

The series next moves to Sunshine Speedway in St. Pete for the annual Dick Friedley Memorial on May 10.
