Superfrog Takes All the Eggs at Auburndale Speedway

The outlaw Modifieds took to the track with a Holiday shortened feild as Raymond "superfrog" Jones in Dave Osteen's 41 car filled up his Easter basket with a win at Auburndale Speedway April 19th.

Starting from mid pack Superfrog found a groove on the outside to work his way to the front. Doug Hopper in the 15 car worked his way from the very back to finish second with Bobby Dayton crossing in third place in a car borrowed from Dan Curl.

A slight difference in driver weight caused the car to cross the scales with to much left side weight and Bobby Dayton was penalized to last place. Ted Hoversen in the 5 car followed Bobby and took the third spot. Billy Campbell in the 11 car took fourth. Phillip Brigham followed in fifth driving the 7 car. ]
