Florida Mini Sprints Results from Thundercross 4-5
Florida Mini Sprints come back to Thundercross Motorsports Park to race for the original track owners. (Kirton’s) The track had new clay and was very smooth. FMSA wants to thank the Thundercross Staff for an excellent quick show.

The heat race started out with the #71 of John “Crash” Craddock and #33 of Tom “Wildhorse” Wilson on the pole. #71 would take the lead with the #33 following the right behind him. The #7 of Jesse Teed would run 3rd. till the #5 of Steve Crabtree would get underneath Jesse to take the 3rd. spot. #86 driven by Russ Heider would pass the #7 to take the 4th. Place. The heat race would finish with #71 of John Craddock taking the win and the #33 of Tom Wilson finishing 2nd.

The feature Event was inverted with the #46 driven by Ed James of Macon, Ga and #69 of TJ Raymond starting up front. Ed James would take the lead for about 6 laps till Ed would push up in the corner and the #7 of Jesse Teed would pass the #46 on the inside to take the lead.

The #5, #86, #46, and #71 would battle it out for a few laps till the #46 of Ed James would break a radius rod bolt and cause the #46 to Spin out. Once the race restarted the #86 would race the #7 to the 1st. turn with the #7 take the point. The #86 would run 2nd. Until #5 passed Russ who would lose another spot to #71 of John Craddock who took over the 3rd. Spot from #86 of Russ Heider.

The #7 driven by Jesse “T-Bone” Teed in the Full Spectrum Racing Engine would win the Feature Event with the #5 of Steve Crabtree in 2nd.and the #71 of John Craddock finished 3rd. with the #86 of Russ Heider in 4th. And the #24 of Tom Blackburn rounding out the top Five.

Heat Finish Order: 1-#71 2-#33 3-#5 4-#86 5-#7 6-#24 7-#69 8-#46 9-#3X DNF

1-#7 2-#5 3-#71 4-#86 5-#24 6-#46 7-#69 8-#3X - #33 DNS
