Doug Hopper Gets First Victory In Outlaw Modifieds
Doug Hopper of New Port Richey in the number 15 car, starting on the outside pole won the drag race to turn one and never looked back as the Outlaw Modifieds ran their second of two appearences at Hialeah Speedway in 2003.

Steve Quick of Davie Fl in Dee Powell's number 1 car chased Doug for 23 laps before a late race caution left him with no transmission. This left Raymond Superfrog Jones in Dave Osteen's 41 car the task of running down Doug.

It was to no avail though as the checkered Flag fell 2 laps later. Ted Hoversen of Key West finished third.

Rounding out the top five were Billy Campbell of New Port Richey in the 11 car and Dan Curl of Florida City in the 60 car.
