RoHo Sims scores second Late Model win of season at Volusia
BARBERVILLE, Fla. -Ro Ho Sims#11 led the pack for another Deland Truck Center Late Model feature win in 2003. Sims tracked down the leader David Clegg #07 and took the lead on lap 21 after expertly chauffering his #11 late model through a tough field of competitors Joe Kump#J17, David Shugart #71, Lawton Minchew #23 & Paul George #88. Sims could place his car anyway he wanted and he did. Again, he proved that of you can't play with the big dogs then go back to the porch.

#2A Dale Shade #77 had his Birthday luck with him as he took another Street Stock feature win after adverting his car around a major crash on lap 13 of which took out the 7 lead cars. Todd Ponce #007 and Shane Williams #1m were fighting for lead around Joey Haslauer#14H when they bumped causing a top 7 car pile up, taking out themselves as well as Paul Shead #80, Pat Vareika #Z84, Trevor Gamble #64, David LeBeau #14 and Joey Haslauer #14H. Haslauer #14H was able to get back into the race. Shade #77 quick reactions gave him the opportunity to win this 2nd Street Stock win in 2003.

#64 David Kinsey #1m won the Hobby Stock A-Main Feature as time expired due to cautions. The entire field ran 3 wide, high and low, bumper to bumper trying to the lead. Dennis North #88, Steve Oldaker #51,Joe Belkey #19, David Showers #54, Donnie Birdwell #31 and Mike Hunter #2 pushed their cars hard fighting fearlessly for the lead but Kinsey came out the victory.

#45 Ryan Vansicle #3V won his 2nd 2003 Mini Stock feature after a caution caused a two lap shoot out between Vansickle #3v, Donnie Ashford #66, Bobby Richardson #45,Drew Smith #29 and Rick Riedel #12. Vansickle #3v kept the top 5 cars behind him at bay by using the entire track for the win.

#75 took the Pure Stock feature win over the field of 23 cars. Shawn captured the lead on lap 3 after battling Steve Morres #15 & Mark Reiter #23 hard for the position. Once Pawlak took the lead he never looked back as the remaining field fought hard 3 wide, door to door putting on a great show for the fans.
