IT'S TIME TO RACE!!

Choquette continues to turn heads at East Bay
by Jay Parrish
GIBSONTON, Fla. (March 29, 2003) - Jeff Choquette, the 16-year-old from West Palm Beach, Fla., is becoming known as the "Wonder Boy" of the Late Models.

Choquette, who started 13th in the 22-car field, worked his way through the field as an experienced veteran and picked up his second win in a row at East Bay Raceway Park in the Rocket Chassis no. 70.

With one to go, Choquette was running third when race leader Rodger Crouse spun in turn 1 to bring out the yellow, giving Devon Dixon the lead.

As the green fell with one to go, Choquette went to the high side and slipped by Dixon going into turn 4.

Choquette caught the eye of the onlookers during the 26th Annual Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway Park as he earned the second quick time on one night and won the Hard Charger Award with the Xtreame Dirt Late Model Series.
