FMSA Results from Thundercross
The Florida Mini Sprint Association arrived back at Thundercross Motorsports Complex to finish where they left off from the rain –out from Feb.22nd.The Heat races that were run on Feb. 22nd. Was Won by #71 John Craddock and #5 Steve Crabtree. The makeup Feature race from Feb.22nd. Was run on a fresh track with the #44 of Russ Clarity leading the 1st. part of the race. Until lap 7 when Russ’s motor went south given the lead to #33 US Car Care of Tom Wilson which would go on to Win the 1st.Feature Event. Mike Schroeder driving the #6 would make it through the field to finish 2nd. With #5 of Steve Crabtree rounding out the top 3.

The 1st. Heat Race would line up with the #24 of Tom Blackburn and the #7 of Jesse Teed on the Pole. Jesse would take the lead and go on to Win the heat Race with #5 of Steve Crabtree finishing 2nd. And #6 of Mike Schroeder rounding out the Top 3.



The 2nd. Heat Race would start out with the #69 of TJ Raymond and #95 of Tom Newton starting up front. Once the green flag dropped the #71 of John Craddock would make a quick move to take the lead and never look back to take the 2nd. Heat Win. Russ Heider driving the #86 would finish 2nd. And #69 of TJ Raymond would go on to finish 3rd.



The final Feature Event lined up with #81 of Randy Carrier and #86 of Russ Heider starting on the pole. The green flag would wave and the #7 of Jesse Teed taking the outside groove to pass both the #81 and #86 on the outside and take the lead. The #71 of John Craddock sliced through the field to take the 2nd. Position until fuel pump problem causing the car to stop on the track and bring out the 1st. and only caution of the race. After the restart the battle would be for 3rd. with the #33 of Tom Wilson and #6 of Mike Schroeder racing each other hard for the 3rd. spot. Jesse Teed driving the #7 Tbone Chassis with Full Spectrum Racing/Thundercross Motorsports Complex.Com on board would lead the race from start to finish with # 5 of Steve Crabtree in 2nd. And #33 of Tom Wilson crossing the line in 3rd. with #6 of Mike Schroeder in 4th. And #86 of Russ Heider rounding put the top 5.
