(St. Augustine, FL; 8/19/2000) Track announcer, Jon Harney, had just approached top qualifier Larry Osteen during driver introductions prior to the start of the Late Model 100-lap feature Saturday night, when a swiftly approaching storm system made contact with Florida Speed Park, dumping rain and sending the Late Models to the pits for cover.

Following a continued downpour and a poor radar report, the evening's events were cancelled. A make-up date has not yet been announced. Florida Speed Park will be in action next Saturday night, August 26th, will all local divisions in action, plus a special 50-lap Thunder Truck event.
