MIKE VANDUSEN RETURNS TO VICTORY LANE AFTER 11-YEAR DRY SPELL

(Gibsonton, FL; 8/19/2000) The last time Mike VanDusen visited east Bay's victory lane was back in 1989. However, last Saturday night, that dry spell ended as he was one of the lucky few to finish in the Sprints. VanDusen took the win over Danny Curry, Bob Auld, Tommy Thompson, and Bubba the Love Sponge. Heat wins went to Casey Johnson and Gene Lasker.

In Limited Sprints, Andy Kelley took the win over Tim George, Clyde Poole, Matt Mercer, and Tim Holston. Heats went to Darrin Miller and Gene Lasker.

Bobby Alexander, Sr. returned to Late Model victory lane as he held off Keith Nosbisch, Bobby Alexander, Jr., Donnie Tanner, and Jack Nosbisch, Jr. Heat wins went to Donnie Tanner and Roger Crouse.

Jeff Matthews took the Limited Late Model main over Forrest Gough, John Bradley, Don Gansner, and Tim Gay. Heats went to Tim Gay and Ricky Land.

Thomas Hampton took the Mini-Stock main over Chris Nosbisch, William Hampton, Robert Douglas, and Jason Buzbee. Heats went to Dorsey Strickland and Ken Rutledge.

Raymond Rogers took win #10 in Street Stocks over Terry Bronson, Danny McCall, John Boarders, and Jarry Lape. Heats went to Danny Paris, Raymond Rogers and Hollie Smith, with the Consi going to Terry Bronson.
