| Raymond Rogers Takes $2500 To Win Mr. Bud Street Stock Champion 2000 | 
(Gibsonton, FL; 8/12/2000) Raymond Rogers took win number 9 on the season in Street Stock action by claiming the title of Mr. Budweiser Street Stock Champion 2000. Rogers, who started on the pole, had to hold off the late race charge of Cam Canova to claim the $2500 first place paycheck. Canova held on for second over Danny McCall. Timmy Bronson and Jerry White rounded out the top five. Heat wins went to Rogers, Canova, McCall, and Danny Paris. The Consi went to Terry Bronson.
Sport Allen won his second Sprint main in a row, as he piloted the Mulligan #3 to victory over Casey Johnson, Robbie Smith, Johnny Gilbertson, and Jeff VanDusen. Heat wins went to Sport Allen and Casy Johnson.
Donnie Tanner took the Late Model feature over Bill Howard, Bobby Alexander, Jr. KD Kelley, and Roger Crouse. Heats went to Tanner and Kelley.
In Mini-Stocks, Devin Dixon took the win over Thomas Hampton, William Hampton, Scotty Williams, and Tony Piniero. Heat wins went to Dixon and William Hampton.
Tim Gay crossed the line first in Limited Late Models; however, a post-race inspection found the #35 illegal, giving the win to Roger Crouse over Forrest Gough, Don Gansner, John Bradley, and Mike Rudder. Heats went to Danny Bowman and John Norris.
JR Prather, Sr. won the Fan Participation race over Mike Stillwell.
