Red Stauffer Wins at Phoenix City

USCS Phoenix City, Alabama
National points leader Red Stauffer from Winter Park, Florida, made it three wins in-a-row in the United Sprint Car Series Saturday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway. Stauffer picked up the lead and the victory in the 30 lap main event when race leader, 20 year old second year driver, Chris Rogers of Winston, Georgia, who after leading the first 21 laps of the event clipped the right rear of a car he was attempting to lap and took a long and nasty series of flips outside of the track's second turn, but escaped injury.
