Day 2 Legends Winternationals 2000

Legends Winternationals 2000, Day two, saw Eric
King out of Hartsville, S.C., capture the makeup Semi Pro feature. Mooresville N.C.'s, John Pascarella paced Donny Lia (W. Palm Bch.), Eddie MacDonald III (Fitzgerald, Ga) and Marc Mitchell (Tallahassee) in the nose to tail finish for second. Reed Sorenson came in from Peach Tree, Ga. to set the pace in their second feature, in his first outing
in the series. Florida's Marc Mitchell finished second ahead of Kirk Hansen (Concord, N.C.), Scott Evans and first feature winner Eric King.

Sparta, Tennessee's, Ron Allison, took a wire to wire win over the Masters 26 car field. First Feature winner, Fred Hardwick (Sevierville, Tn.) captured second over defending champ Billy Erwin (Statesville,N.C.), Jerry Chafton (Bowling Green, Ky) and Tommy Jordan (Hartsville,
S.C.) Eddie MacDonald Jr. was dropped from his 5th place finish in tech.

Doug Stevens from Madonna, Ga dominated the pro division in his first outing of the series with a big win over the 22 car field. Shaun Buffington (Plainfield, Ct.) held out in a hard fought battle for second over the young Johnathon Davenport (Blairsville, Ga) and father and son team of Blake and Mike Hansen (Dallas, Tex.).
