Newberrytown, PA (June 27, 2009) – All results for the Late Models, Street Stocks and Xtreme Stock Car classes from Saturday Night, June 27 are unofficial pending an investigation from Susquehanna Speedway Park management. “Official results are anticipated by Tuesday, June 30, but we are not going to rush things at this point, said Todd Fisher, SSP co-owner. Fisher would not elaborate on any details concerning the investigation into the three main divisions at SSP, but said he would review all of the information to make the results officials and determine if there would be any changes to any of the finishing orders. The results that were made official were the Classic Cars, Mini Vans and the XSC Rookie Rumble with Joe Snodgrass, Bill Wise Jr. and Curtis Shue winning in their respective divisions.



Action returns to the Susquehanna Speedway Park on Thursday with the Eichelberger’s U-Pull It Super Show featuring the 600cc Micro Sprint Speedweek, two Legends Cars features (one a continuation of a postponed race from June), and the Tobias SpeedSTRs.



Then action continues at the SSP Outback Track on Friday night, July 2 at 7:30 p.m. featuring quarter midget and go kart racing action. This will be the second race of the Summer Shoot-Out Series.



Then on Saturday night, July 4 at 7:00 p.m. the Big Track will feature the 4th Annual Summer Fun Championships with a 40-lap feature for the Late Models, a 30-lap feature for the Street Stocks, and a 25-lap feature for the Xtreme Stock Cars. The PENNMAR Vintage Cars and XSC Rookie Rumble will also be racing that night.

The Next Wednesday Night Test & Tune is on July 1





The next Wednesday Night Test & Tune session will be on July 1, 2009. It is open to any type of racecars capable of competing on the 4/10 mile oval. The cost is $12.00 per person for pit passes and a $20.00 fee for each racecar entering the pit area ($32.00 per car & driver combination). Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. with open track time from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. by class. Each session will be 6 – 8 laps per session. The grandstands are open free to the public. Each class will receive 4 to 5 rounds of 6/8 laps each or more if time permits. The fuel pumps from Miller’s Racing Parts will not be open. Anyone needing fuel should contact Miller’s Racing Parts directly. The main concession stand will also be open throughout the night.



Also on Wedesday night, there will an open practice session for quarter midgets and karts at the Outback Track from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. under the lights. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with open practice from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The cost will be $20.00 per driver with no charge for anyone else entering the grandstand and “cold pit” areas. All Outback Track participants should enter the pits from the Kise Mill Road entrance behind turn 2 of the “Big Track.”
