Monroe, LA (June 17, 2009) Mother Nature calls for HOT weather this Saturday at Monroe Motor Speedway with plenty of HOT action for the fans on the track. Payroll Plus proudly presents this week's action with the Bumper to Bumper Late Models, Central Oil Modifieds, Payroll Plus Sport Mods, Sonic Drive-In Compacts, Thunder Stocks, Legends, and Coca Cola Bandoleros.

Don't forget, the "Sweet 16" program is in full swing now at Monroe. If the Thunder Stocks and Mods each have 16 cars start their feature race, the purse will be DOUBLED for the night.

With Sunday being Father's Day, why not bring dad to the track for a good old fashion Saturday night full of short track stock car racing. A great gift for dad and alot of fun for the whole family.

There will be open practice this Thursday night, June 18th. Pit gate will open at 5 pm with practice starting at 6 pm. Admission is $10.00 per person.

On Saturday, June 21st, pit gate will open at 2 pm with grandstands opening at 3 pm. General admission is $10.00 per person, Seniors (62 and older) and Military is $7.00, children age 6 thru 12 is $5.00, and under 5 are FREE. Twilight Show begins at 6 pm with racing at 7:00 pm.
