Monroe, LA (June 10, 2009) The weather forecast for this Saturday at Monroe Motor Speedway is HOT, HOT, HOT. No rain in sight only alot of HOT racing action on the program.

TXI Ready Mix proudly sponsors this Saturday night at Monroe with the Bumper to Bumper Late Models, Central Oil Supply Modifieds, Payroll Plus Sport Mods, Sonic Drive-In Compacts, Thunder Stocks, Legends, and Coca Cola Bandoleros.

Saturday will also mark the new "Sweet 16" program at Monroe. If 16 or more cars showup and run in the Thunder Stock and Sport Mod division, the purse for these two divisions will actually DOUBLE for the night. All it takes is 16 cars in Thunder Stocks and Sport Mods and you will get DOUBLE PAYOUT. Not a bad deal at all for the racers.

There will be open practice this Thursday night, June 11th. Pit gate will open at 5 pm with practice starting at 6 pm. Admission is $10.00 per person.

On Saturday, June 13th, pit gate will open at 2 pm with grandstands opening at 3 pm. General admission is $10.00 per person, Seniors (62 and older) and Military is $7.00, children age 6 thru 12 is $5.00, and under 5 are FREE.

Twilight Show begins at 6 pm with racing at 7:00 pm.
