| Jason White 25th at Texas Motor Speedway | Halloween was no treat for Jason White and his GunBroker.com #08 Dodge truck as mechanical issues ended his bid for a solid finish just before the halfway point in the Chevy Silverado 350 Friday evening at the Texas Motor Speedway .
White qualified for the race in the 28th position and steadily moved up the running order reaching as high as the 21st position before troubles under the hood on lap 62 sidelined the #08 GunBroker.com Dodge. "Jason did a nice job tonight, especially avoiding those first two wrecks, both of them happened pretty much right in front of him," said SS GreenLight Racing co-owner and crew chief Bobby Dotter. "We could have easily had a top-twenty finish if not for the motor problem," added White, "We'll just have to put this one behind us and head over to Phoenix."
Despite the finish 25th place finish, White moved up one spot in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings to 19th place with two races remaining in the 2008 season. The #08 team remained in 27th place in the owners point standings.
The next event for the SS GreenLight Racing #08 GunBroker.com Dodge will be the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 7th, 2008. It will be White's first trip to the one mile speedway located just west of Phoenix, AZ. The race can be seen live on SPEED Channel with the pre-race programming starting at 8:30 eastern.
